CentPure hosts photographs, furniture design and a host of other Mt. Daisetsu cultural activities in an area that was formerly the Higashikawa Elementary School building and campus. In Higashikawa, which has the Oda Collection, the collection is permanently exhibited in its gallery, creating an opportunity to experience excellent design.

JR Asahikawa Station is known for using a lot of local wood and an interior filled with Asahikawa furniture and we hold themed exhibitions of the Oda Collection irregularly at the gallery centered on sculptures on the premises. Please feel free to stop by when using JR or local buses.
At the Asahikawa Design Center where Asahikawa furniture and crafts are gathered together as an industrial tourism base for the City of Design ASAHIKAWA, it is linked to the “Chair’s Day” initiative established by the town of Higashikawa together with architect Kengo Kuma. The world’s masterpiece chairs from Oda collection are exhibited by theme.
